Faculty
The SDSU School of Nursing encompasses about 60 faculty members, and numerous adjunct professors. The faculty in the School of Nursing is committed to providing excellent learning opportunities for students within an intellectually stimulating environment incorporating clinical practice, research, and service to the University and the community.
All tenured and tenure-track faculty are doctorally prepared and conduct research in a wide variety of clinical areas.
Students receive direct clinical experience in over 70 hospitals and health agencies in San Diego County as an integral part of the curriculum.
