Advising Appointments

• Many of your questions may be answered in the MS, BS, or RN-BS sections of this website.
  Please note that it is important to check back periodically for any updates or changes in the programs.

• If you still have unanswered questions, please feel free to schedule an appointment with the MS/BS Student Services advisor. You can email the advisor directly for an appointment at cnicodem@mail.sdsu.edu. (Dates and times for appointments are printed below).

  Note: Prospective undergraduate students MUST attend a group advising session before scheduling an individual appointment with the Student Services Advisor. These group sessions are offered for pre-nursing students seeking admission into the traditional Bachelor's of Science Nursing Program (Dates and times for group advising sessions are printed below.)

  Hours:
  Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (excluding lunch and meeting times).
  Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  Walk-ins are welcome on Tuesday's from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, (excluding lunch from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM)

• You may attend any one of these sessions.
• Be sure to check the website for any last minute changes in the schedule
• We will require you to sign in at the door to assist us in meeting your future needs
• Once you have attended a group advising session you may contact the Student Services Advisor for an appointment. Attending this advising session is optional and not a requirement for admission to the school of nursing.
• The group advising sessions are held in Hardy Tower, Room 38.
• The session is approximately two (2) hours long.
• You must purchase a parking permit if you plan to park in an SDSU parking structure.

  Non-Admit Group Advising Sessions
  

• These sessions are intended for pre-nursing students who were not admitted to the progam. These sessions are generally held right after the admission process is complete and students are notified of their non acceptance. Please check the website for future dates, times and location.

• Note: The School of Nursing is no longer accepting rollover forms. Applicants not admitted to the program MUST re-apply to be considered for the next admission cycle.
