Scholarly Areas: Initiation and adherence of physical activity in older adults living independently; prevention of hypertension; measurement of physical activity
Current Projects: Measure of physical activity by using a pedometer among older adults residing independently in a community. Compare the health and physical activity of ethnic minority.
Biography: Dr. Lee has a long history of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical unit in the U.S.A, and Emergency, Neurological, and Rehabilitation units abroad. She has a solid foundation of research ability in design, methods, and analysis. She received a research award from American Nurses Foundation in 2003 and was selected as the Carol Lindman’s New Researcher at the Western Institute of Nursing Conference in Portland, Oregon (April, 2004)
