Biography: Dr. Lorraine Fitzsimmons is an experienced nurse educator and nurse practitioner. She developed and implemented two graduate concentrations in the School of Nursing including the Critical Care Nurse Specialist CNS (1986-1996) and the Advanced Practice Nursing of Adults/Elderly (1997-present) Concentrations. Her areas of interest include physiologic nursing, and advanced practice nursing.
