Scholarly Areas:

Dr. Todero’s research interests include circadian rhythms in healthy and surgical patients, shiftworker decision making and symptom management, particularly fatigue, in heart failure patients

Biography:

Dr. Todero has been successful in initiating and sustaining many different educational programs and community partnerships. Currently she serves as the VA Nursing Academy School of Nursing Program Director. Prior to coming to SDSU in 2006, Dr. Todero served as an Associate Dean at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing since 1988 and as interim Dean from 1994 to 1995. In 1992 she founded the UNMC-Cosmopolitan Mobile Nursing Center and served as the founding Director of the center until 2001. The center continues to provide healthcare outreach to the underserved communities across the state of Nebraska.
