Plan B, Comprehensive Exam

Students are able to choose between a thesis and non-thesis (Plan B) option.

There are two Plan B options offered by the School of Nursing. Option 1 involves the development of a research proposal and option 2 is a comprehensive management project. Option 1 is available to all students and Option 2 is available to all students except those in the Advanced Practice Nursing Concentration.

Option 1, Research Proposal

• Plan B intent Form (.pdf, 6 kb) - submit to the Graduate Advisor by the first Monday in November for the Spring Comp Exam or by the first Monday in April for the Fall Comp Exam
• Honor Code Form (.pdf, 4 kb) - one copy must be submitted with the Plan B paper. Plan B papers will not be evaluated in the absence of the Honor Code form
