Master of Science in Nursing

Overview

The School of Nursing offers a graduate curriculum leading to the Master of Science degree in Nursing. Graduates of the program will be prepared to function as clinical specialists, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, community based nurses/school nurses, middle or executive-level nursing administrators and/or nurse educators. The program is designed for either full- or part-time study. All graduates of the program are prepared for beginning roles as nurse researchers and for further educational opportunities in doctoral studies.

Concentrations & Specializations

There are three concentrations in the MS program currently accepting admissions and options for further specialization within the concentrations:

  1. Women's Health Nursing

  2. Advanced Practice Nursing of Adults and the Elderly

  3. Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems
