Application Periods & Deadlines

Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Application Period:
• October 1 - November 30 for Fall/Spring Admission Cycle

RN-to-BS (for current RN's only) - Application Period:

• October 1 - November 30 for the Fall/Spring Admission Cycle

  Imperial Valley Campus admits both Fall and Spring

Master of Science in Nursing - Application Period:

Concentration in Advanced Practice Nursing of Adults and the Elderly (NP/CNS or CNS/NE):

• October 1 - December 15 - Submit the University application for the subsequent Fall academic year.
• January 10 - File completion deadline - all supporting documents must be submitted to Graduate Admissions for processing.
• April 16 - Applicant MUST submit intent to enroll deposit.

  All other graduate nursing concentrations:

• October 1 - February 1 - Submit the University application for the subsequent Fall academic year.
• March 1 - File completion deadline - all supporting documents must be submitted to Graduate Admissions for processing.
• May 16 - Applicant MUST submit intent to enroll deposit.

  *Important notice regarding changes in the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General test. The GRE format changed on Aug 1. Please visit the ETS website http://www.ets.org/gre/ for complete information on format changes and practice test questions.

  The School of Nursing will accept either the current GRE or new version of the GRE for the fall 2012 application cycle.

  We encourage you to take the GRE prior to Nov 1, 2011 in order to ensure your score is reported to SDSU by the deadline.
