Patricia Wahl served as the Director of the School of Nursing for 15 years, and retired in 2006. Among her accomplishments, Wahl was involved with the creation of Nurses Now, which resulted in a 70 percent increase in enrollment in the nursing program. The City of San Diego proclaimed May 10, 2006 to be Patricia Wahl Day!
